A: Bring
your insurance card, picture id, and copies of any
testing that has been done previously. |

What will happen on my first visit? |
A: A
brief exam with Dr. Hudgins and a review of your
history and determination for need of a venous Doppler.
Your Visit may last up
to 30 minutes depending on the complexity or number of
questions you may have.

Do I need to call the insurance company? |
A: My
office pre-certifies the procedures and finds doctors
on your insurance. If there is a question with the
bill from us, please call the offices (972.596.5225) and ask for Joyce. |

| Q: What do I need for pain? |
A: Some procedures call
local anesthetic and this is done via injection. Pain
pills are prescribed as needed after surgery. |

Will I speak with the anesthesiologist before surgery? |
A: The
anesthesiologist should call the night before surgery,
if you miss the call, you will see him or her before
surgery to ask any final questions. |

to be off work? |
A: Depending
on the procedure, back to work with in 48 hours. |

| Q: Are there any restrictions
after surgery? |
A: You may be up and
about within your own tolerance limits. No prolonged
standing during the first 48 hours after surgery.
No jarring motions like racquetball or tennis. No
tub baths for 1 week. And no swimming or hot tubs
for 1 week. Yoga and exercising ok after 3 to 4 days.
